IN THE SPRING

It may not be what you think, from the title. I actually was inspired by my repeated trips
to get water from the mountain spring not far from our studio. I've been getting water there
for almost 20 years and it a very envigorating experience to drink icy cold water right from
the spring. It is there you can meditate upon the concept of water evaporating from all of
earth, rising into the sky and falling once again upon the earth. The snow at the higher
elevations gradually melts and gradually works its way into underground streams and
finally nourishing all of life beneath it. It is a powerful meditation.
